Product Technology M&A Senior Associate

Job Description As a Product Technology Senior Associate, you’ll focus on evaluating software platforms through an integrated commercial, operational, and financial lens. The team provides investment‑grade insights that tie product architecture and roadmap credibility directly to valuation, growth, and margin sustainability. You will provide analytical and technical support across product technology diligence engagements, focusing on architecture, engineering, and cost analysis. Assist Product Technology Diligence engagements for Private Equity and strategic clients, assessing software platforms across technical architecture, product strategy, operational scalability, and financial sustainability. This role requires the ability to tie commercial, operational, and financial performance of a software platform directly to its technology architecture and roadmap. From day one, you’ll be empowered to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently. Your day‑to‑day may include Conduct architecture reviews and documentation analysis Support codebase and technical debt analysis Analyze cloud infrastructure configurations Assist in evaluating roadmap feasibility Support hosting cost and R&D cost analysis Prepare diligence slides and summaries Support management Q&A tracking Qualifications 3–6 years in software engineering, cloud engineering, architecture analysis, or product development environments Experience in SaaS or platform businesses (preferred) Strong analytical and documentation skills Structured problem solving Attention to detail High learning agility Interest in private equity and transaction environments Ability to travel up to 50% Hybrid work model; in‑person attendance at least three days per week at a GT office or client site The base salary range for this position is between $137,816 and $165,020.
