The hygienist is responsible for periapical x-rays on these patients. In the absence of the supervisor or director, performs scheduling and work assignments based upon patient flow needs.**Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage based on operational need is a MUST****Responsibilities**Complete Oral Prophylaxes on patientsComplete periapical x-rays as neededDocumentation of the oral examination in the patients electronic dental recordMaintain inventory of supplies and equipmentEducation to patients and familiesWork with front desk staff on scheduling**Qualifications/ Skills**High school diploma/ GED requiredCompletion of a Dental Hygienist program requiredNYS Licensure for Dental HygienistPrior experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental setting preferredMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
