\nThe Senior Tax Accountant will play a key role in preparing and managing tax filings, conducting research, supporting tax planning activities, and mentoring junior accounting professionals. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Prepare, maintain, and organize tax records for U.S. S-corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
\n
• Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, supporting schedules, and related reports.
\n
• Coordinate and monitor quarterly estimated tax payments and tax filing extensions.
\n
• Review fixed asset reporting and tax depreciation calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Conduct tax research and summarize findings to support business and compliance needs.
\n
• Maintain shareholder tax records and review individual income tax returns.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to tax team members throughout the return preparation process.
\n
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.

Qualifications

Required

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
\n
• 4+ years of experience in corporate taxation or public accounting with a focus on tax.
\n
• Experience preparing and reviewing S-corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
\n
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance requirements.
\n
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
\n
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

\n

\n
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
\n
• Master's degree in Taxation (MST).
\n
• Experience with GoSystem Tax RS or similar tax preparation software.
\n
• Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior tax professionals.
\n
• Experience working with complex business entity structures and high-volume tax environments.
