Rice Village Diamonds is looking for a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position combines customer service, jewelry sales, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

• Assist customers with requests in store, by phone, and through email
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
• Guide customers through diamond and fine jewelry selections
• Process sales using POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, repairs, custom jewelry, and special requests
• Support daily sales goals and maintain strong customer relationships
• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, invoices, customer records, and general office organization
• Prepare and organize paperwork related to sales, repairs, special orders, and custom jewelry
• Respond to emails and assist with customer correspondence
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory organization
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom and office environment
• Support the team with other day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at minimum
• Previous retail, sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Willing to work weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-first mindset
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
• Comfortable learning POS and other computer systems
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Jewelry or luxury retail experience is a plus, but not required
