Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend and holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a fast-paced Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management
• Float to other units as needed, ensuring seamless care across the facility

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience and Basic Dysrhythmia course completion required
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand at profile upload)
• Current Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Willingness to float to other units and work every other weekend and holidays
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Competent in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
