About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: No license required to submit Certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR) Must-Have: Previous experience on GE MRI Description: Hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager. The department has one GE 1.5T scanner. No floating or covering of other areas is required. Average number of scans performed is 30 in a 24-hour period. The department utilizes Epic and Synapse PACS for managing imaging studies. The lead tech or supervisor is responsible for overseeing the department. Radiologists are available both in-house and online. IV starts are required in this department. The shift schedule typically consists of three 10-hour nights, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and every other Thursday. Call is required typically one night per week and one weekend per month. Scrub color/dress code includes black pants and a royal blue top. Weekend and holiday requirements are included in the schedule. The cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used in this department is EPIC.
