The Opportunity

• Join an established pediatric surgery program at a respected children's hospital serving Central Virginia
• Broad-scope pediatric surgical practice caring for patients from newborns through young adults with a diverse, high-acuity case mix.
• Dedicated pediatric emergency department, inpatient pediatrics, PICU, NICU and extensive pediatric specialty support all on one campus.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists including gastroenterology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, developmental pediatrics and palliative care.
• Robotics available with strong operative volume and opportunities to perform office-based procedures as well.
• Two experienced physician assistants provide clinic and inpatient support.
• Manageable call with no trauma call and minimal overnight return-to-hospital requirements.
• Dedicated OR block time with a balanced mix of elective and emergency cases.
