Qualifications:

• Masters degree from an accredited physical therapy program (required)
• Active Physical Therapist License for New Jersey (required)
• Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience strongly preferred
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, educators, and families
• Strong organizational abilities and flexible approach to accommodate varied student needs
• Commitment to promoting student independence and academic success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school environments, tailoring interventions to individual goals and IEP objectives
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop plans that support student progress
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments to monitor student growth
• Educate school staff and families regarding safe mobility and adaptive equipment use
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Work collaboratively alongside educators, school counselors, and special education teams
