Construction Project ManagerA commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million in the Bozeman, MT market. This is a full lifecycle role covering financial management, schedule administration, risk assessment, safety oversight, and team development, with the ability to run multiple projects of varied size and complexity simultaneously. The position works closely with preconstruction, self-perform divisions, accounting, and field superintendents to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with on-site presence required throughout project duration. Schedule may vary based on project phase and deadline requirements.$115,000 - $150,000 Per YearWhat You'll DoYou will have full financial oversight responsibility for your projects, working with the accounting team on initial job setup and cost control, producing monthly cost and revenue forecasts, processing monthly pay applications, and presenting project status at monthly financial reviews. You will manage the change order process from identification through execution, negotiating changes with owners and subcontractors in alignment with the construction schedule, and maintaining labor roadmaps and equipment tracking throughout the project. Reviewing subcontractor invoices with the Superintendent for approval is a routine part of the financial workflow.On the project side, you will oversee the total construction effort to ensure work is completed in accordance with design intent, budget, schedule, and quality standards. That includes generating and updating the project schedule, understanding sequencing and productivity, and maintaining command of all contractual responsibilities and contract documents. You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors from procurement through post-construction, and you will oversee coordination with self-perform divisions throughout construction. Supporting business development through participation in estimates, subcontractor coordination, and proposal interviews is also an expected part of the role.From a risk management standpoint, you will review the prime contract before project start to understand administration requirements, work with preconstruction to establish risk-conscious subcontract scope exhibits, review project budgets for sufficiency, and ensure all subcontracts are fully executed with required insurance and bonds in place before work begins.Safety leadership is a core responsibility.
