Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with 8-10+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM ERP systems, including Workforce Administration (WFA), Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), and ePerformance. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions while collaborating with technical teams, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in development activities for the PeopleSoft HCM ERP system, including Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition Management, and ePerformance.

• Develop defect-free enhancements following industry and application best practices.

• Collaborate with core development team members, subject matter experts, campus project teams, and business and technical stakeholders to deliver system enhancements.

• Prepare, approve, or obtain approval for system and programming documentation.

• Initiate and oversee changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

• Define technical requirements for complex software specifications.

• Plan, design, develop, modify, debug, deploy, and evaluate complex software solutions for functional areas.

• Analyze existing software, formulate logic, and develop algorithms for new software systems.

• Perform complex data analysis and test/debug software while working with management and technical teams.

• Initiate, analyze, and design complex data sources and integrations.

• Apply and enforce programming security practices.

• Provide advanced production support services, including participation in support rotations and on-call support as needed.

• Review processes, analyze and correct system data, work directly with customers to resolve issues, and design solutions to address system defects.

• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.

• Assess, triage, troubleshoot, and escalate issues to management as appropriate.

• Develop and maintain PeopleSoft Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker services, and custom reports across multiple modules.

• Develop and maintain data integrations and specify data services.

• Prepare conversion and system implementation plans.

• Author technical design specifications and test plans.

• Support configuration strategy preparation, object migration, procedures, practices, and automated and manual deployment methods.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10+ years of PeopleSoft development experience.

• 7+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x.

• Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition Management, and ePerformance modules.

• Experience working on at least two large-scale PeopleSoft HCM implementation projects involving large numbers of users and multiple locations.

• Advanced experience designing and developing solutions for PeopleSoft HCM applications.

• Deep understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM data model.

• Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools, programming languages, and integration technologies.

• Strong experience with Application Engine and SQL.

• Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Experience with BI Publisher.

• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development tools for improving Fluid UI components, accessibility, and navigation.

• Experience developing and maintaining Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker services, and custom reports.

• Hands-on experience with Fluid technology, Tiles, Related Content, Event Mapping, and Page and Field Configurator.

• Experience with data integration and specification of data services.

• Experience developing conversion and system implementation plans.

• Experience authoring technical design specifications and test plans.

• Experience with configuration strategy preparation and object migration using STAT/PHIRE.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

• Strong project leadership and software management skills.

• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely to personnel at various levels.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
