Position Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will serve as the primary finance leader for a large, multi-site operational portfolio within a growing middle-market organization, partnering directly with site and executive leadership to drive financial performance, strengthen controls, and improve profitability across numerous facilities.

This role requires a hands-on operational finance professional who thrives in complex, decentralized environments and brings strong contract management, forecasting, and P&L ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance lead for a significant multi-location operational portfolio.

• Oversee monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and full P&L performance across multiple facilities.

• Manage contract compliance, pricing structures, and margin performance to protect profitability.

• Conduct operational financial analysis including labor optimization, cost control, and productivity initiatives.

• Partner directly with plant or site leaders to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.

• Present monthly financial reviews to senior leadership with clear variance analysis and strategic insight.

• Act as liaison between finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams.

• Develop and mentor site-level finance support resources.

• Ensure strong financial controls and standardized reporting across a decentralized footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.

• 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience with current or recent experience at the Senior Manager or Director level.

• Required experience supporting a large multi-site operation such as manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or other high-volume environments.

• Demonstrated ownership of a significant revenue portfolio spanning numerous facilities.

• Strong contract management and operational compliance background.

• Proven ability to partner with field leadership and present financial insights to executive teams.

• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with large ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms required.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a steep learning curve.

• Operational execution and business partnership mindset valued over pedigree.
