Registered Nurse Nurse Clinician I

Working/Functional Title Registered Nurse Position Summary This position will provide direct specialized care, instruction, and education to patients in primary care and gynecology; provides allergy and immunization injections; triages patients to assess symptoms and make medical decisions within the parameters of nursing protocol. Working hours are 8-5 Monday - Friday. This position will work full time during the academic semesters with a 1-month unpaid leave during semester break. Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year college degree program in nursing; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible work experience as a registered nurse; or a combination of education and experience. Possession of current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. BCLS certification or completion of BCLS certification within 6 months of hire. Desired Qualifications Nursing experience to include Gynecology, Allergy & Immunization, and Ambulatory/Primary Care.
