Family Medicine Physician

Primary Care Division | Hagerstown, MD (Valley Mall)

$250,000 Base Salary + $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + RVU Incentive Bonus

Position Overview

• Outpatient-focused Family Medicine providing comprehensive care for all ages, from infants to seniors.

• Manage a patient load of 20-24 individuals daily.

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• Base salary of $250K, supplemented by productivity bonuses.

• Receive a $20K sign-on bonus.

• Participate in a rotating call schedule for weeknights and weekends.

Clinical Responsibilities

This role encompasses a traditional outpatient primary care practice, delivering comprehensive, ongoing care to families:

Outpatient Services

• Conduct well-child and well-woman examinations.

• Provide care for acute illnesses.

• Manage chronic health conditions.

• Focus on preventive care and health maintenance.

• Offer routine gynecological services.

• Perform minor office procedures, depending on training and interest.

Patient Demographics

Deliver full-spectrum family medicine services to a diverse patient population, including:

• Newborns, infants, and children.

• Adolescents.

• Adults managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

• Women's health and prenatal care coordination.

• Geriatric patients.

Typical Patient Volume

• Care for 20-24 patients daily.

• Handle a mix of acute, chronic, preventive, and follow-up visits.

• Emphasize quality metrics, including diabetes management and patient satisfaction.

Academic Opportunities

• Engage in teaching medical students and residents, with the upcoming launch of a new medical school and expanded residency programs.

• Participate in didactic sessions or precepting based on personal interest.

Work Schedule & Call Duties

• Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional documentation time extending beyond 4:30 PM.

• Participate in a shared rotating call for weeknights and weekends.

• No inpatient responsibilities are required.

• Access to dedicated LPNs, Medical Assistants, and administrative staff at each location.
