An ideal candidate must be motivated, coachable, and ready to be hands-on! Gerhart is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our talented team based in Tatamy, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to fabricate from professional blue prints or sketches as required
• Experience with a variety of metal welding and grinding/sanding techniques in order to work at a very high degree of accuracy and finished product
• Fabricate from raw material to finished product

Qualifications:

• Familiar with common metal shop tools and equipment. (i.e. welders - TIG & MIG, Brazing, Cutting Torches, grinders, breaks, drills, taps, saws, fixtures, measuring, etc.)
• Effective communication skills is a must
• Capable of working both independently and as a team to perform all jobs and projects.
• Previous work experience with Pipe Fitting, Tube Bending, Compression Fitting Experience
• Forklift Certification
• Physically Fit; position requires consistent lifting, moving, and carrying product 50lbs or more
• Willing and able to bend, crawl, and lift for extended periods of time in a safe manner meeting company guidelines and OSHA standards
• Self-motivated with critical thinking skills
