Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Beds: 7 holding beds
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days per month with self-scheduling.
Floating Policy: Floating within the departments of Electrophysiology (EP) and Stress Lab.

Ensuring high standards of patient experience by providing compassionate care and effective communication.

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set: Cath Lab experience, Structural Heart, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio (IFR), Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR).
Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
Impella support

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
PFO closure
Atherectomy
PCI
Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
Impella/IABP support
Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement
Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

Dress Code

Required uniform: Surgical scrubs provided by the facility.
