General Manager OpportunityCore Hotels, LLC is in search of an experienced General Manager for the Aloft Hotel – Opening Q2 of 2026 in El Dorado Hills, California. Located in the El Dorado Hills Town Center, this property will feature 115 guestrooms, meeting facilities, and a food & beverage outlet. This is a full-time salaried position responsible for the hotel's overall operational and financial success. The successful candidate will manage hotel personnel, ensure guest satisfaction, oversee all aspects of income generation and cost control, and maximize profitability.Compensation for this position starts at $85,000 and may reach the $115,000 range per year, based on experience, and will be paid biweekly. Paid time off, paid sick time, opportunity for future advancements, and hotel discounts within other managed properties.The role of the General Manager is to:Assist in the Pre-Opening brand timelinesAssists in the selection of property team membersManage, train, and motivate hotel staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure high standards of service, productivity, and quality of workEnsure promotion and maintenance of high hotel standards, including training and customer serviceMonitor all areas of work and ensure that performance levels comply with company policies and standardsDevelop strategies to increase the profitability of the hotel and ensure its financial stabilityOversee the preparation of detailed and accurate financial reports in the form of budgets, forecasts, and financial statementsProactively identify and resolve issues, while maintaining communication with other departmentsAnalyze operational and sales data to ensure profitable and efficient operationsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsRequirements:Pre-opening experience requiredPrior GM experience in like-sized Marriott, select service, or full service propertiesBachelor's degree in Hospitality or related fieldExperience in hotel/restaurant management for 5+ yearsProficiency in using a wide variety of software systems, including MS Office, point of sale systems, M3, and financial analysis toolsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidaysQualifications in health and safety, crisis management, and food and beverage will be an advantageEEOC STATEMENT: Core Hotels LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
