Description
We are seeking a veterinarian to join our team and provide mentorship to the next generation of veterinarians; coaching them to be successful in exam rooms, showing them how to balance their day between medical records and seeing patients, and teaching fluency in surgery.
What we offer at our practice:- Full medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets, reptiles, and exotics
- A suite of services: surgery, dental, preventative, wellness, diagnostics, dermatology, laser therapy, and emergency care
- Equipment: digital radiology suite (digital and dental x-ray), ultrasound, treatment area with 3 wet tables, large surgical suite, full IDEXX reference lab, cold laser, and underwater treadmill
- Skilled, tenured, and experienced support staff
- Schedule: 4-day work week and rotating Saturday shift (8 am-12 pm)
- 4+ years of veterinarian experience
- Passion for teaching and coaching
- Technical and verbal fluency in veterinary medicine areas of internal medicine, dental procedures, emergency medicine, and soft-tissue surgery
- Proficiency in ultrasound is a plus
- Adaptable to a variety of personalities and workflows
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- 120k base with production
- Sign-on bonus (dependent on experience)
