This is a hybrid position preferably located in the Washington DC area.As a Data Analyst, you will join a functional team of accomplished Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Data Engineers that deliver custom analytic solutions to our federal government clients. Some of your responsibilities will include: consulting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, exploring and analyzing large structured, semi-structured and unstructured datasets using SQL and/or Python, developing and deploying data visualization dashboards, and communicating data analysis results, dashboards and reports to end-users.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Experience with cleaning, management and processing large volumes of data.Experience building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools including Power BI, and Tableau.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex data issues.Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs and to build towards technical solution or capability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Minimum Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex data issues.2+ years of Data Analysis or Data Management experience.Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, analytics, data science, data engineering, business, or social sciencesClearance RequiredProficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and data analysis to identify issues, trends, and patterns with the data.Understanding of databases and familiarity with database design.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree (MS) in analytics, computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, management information systems, decision science, or related fieldsIdeally located in the DC Metro area to attend regularly scheduled meetingsStatistical/Predictive AnalysisDomain Expertise (fraud) or managementClearance Requirements:Must currently possess an IRS Public Trust clearance with Full Background InvestigationPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsThe projected compensation range for this position is $83,300.00-$139,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
