Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a licensed Residential Plumbing Technician for a temp‐to‐hire opportunity with a well‐established residential plumbing company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role is ideal for a Journeyman‐level plumber experienced in residential service work who is comfortable working independently inside customers’ homes.

Position Details

Position: Residential Plumbing Technician (Journeyman)
Job Type: Temp‐to‐Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour

Work Environment: Residential homes

Job Responsibilities

Perform residential plumbing service, repair, and installation work
Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing system issues
Install and service fixtures, water heaters, and water treatment systems
Perform water and sewage system repairs and upgrades
Complete service calls independently within Santa Fe and surrounding areas
Maintain professional conduct while working in customers’ homes

Required Skills & Experience

Journeyman Plumber License with knowledge of UPC codes applicable to New Mexico
Proven residential plumbing service experience
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with fixtures, water heaters, and residential plumbing systems
Reliable, professional, and customer‐service oriented
Willingness to relocate to Santa Fe, NM or live within 30 miles
Strong understanding of safety procedures, including fall protection and PPE requirements and iron worker tools (belts, bags, spud wrenches, harness)
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
