Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent CST credential.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only, as required by the client.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an OR.
• Experience with perioperative environments including neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general surgery is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to participate in call responsibilities.
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as required by the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience as a surgical technologist.
• Certification as a CST preferred by the client.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0630-1830.
• Workweek: 3x12 schedule referenced in client notes.
• Weekend hours as required by facility.
• Call requirements: as required by facility; 2 primary and 2 backup over a 2-month call period with rotating self-sign up opportunities. Specific M-F 1100-0700 call window noted.
• Float requirements: as required by facility.
