Residential Security Agent On-Call – Experience required Job Details $37-39 per hour Job Type – part time Job Summary This position is for an on-call part‑time armed Residential Security Team Agent. It provides support to a protective security detail in Santa Barbara, CA, operating in a dynamic, multi‑faceted, fast‑paced environment. The responsibilities include: Ensure a safe and secure environment for principals in all settings Maintain knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activities Monitor property and area activities via CCTV and physical checks Monitor traditional and social media for potential threats Drive or tail principal, family members, or guests Conduct advance work as needed Screen and track mail and deliveries Monitor weather, natural disasters, traffic, public safety incidents and trends Coordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasks Complete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principals Ensure 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep Operate within SOPs and applicable laws Coordinate and support the executive protection element of the team Position Qualifications 2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positions Valid driver’s license with clean driving record California BSIS Guard Card California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsement CPR/AED/BLS certification from a reputable institution Passport *All certifications must be current. Employees are responsible for keeping all certifications/licenses active.
