Immigration Paralegal

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Immigration Paralegal role based in Charlotte, NC. The Immigration Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing and filing immigration applications and petitions, including family-based petitions, visas, adjustment of status, and naturalization cases. Daily tasks include gathering and organizing client documents, preparing legal forms and supporting exhibits, drafting cover letters and client correspondence, and maintaining accurate case files and timelines. The role involves conducting basic legal and factual research, tracking case status with government agencies, and updating clients on case progress under attorney supervision. The Immigration Paralegal will also coordinate appointments, manage deadlines, and assist with translating or interpreting documents where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant.
• Bilingual Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including immigration forms, supporting affidavits, and organized evidence packets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Proficiency with case and client management systems.
• Knowledge of Immigration Issues and practical experience handling Visas and related immigration benefits.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
