This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor, coaching teams, solving problems at the source, and developing future leaders in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Lead daily manufacturing operations, driving performance in safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost while aligning with business objectives

Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by implementing sustainable process enhancements and eliminating operational waste

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality through visible leadership, employee engagement, and consistent coaching

Develop and mentor supervisors and managers, building leadership capability and empowering teams to solve problems and improve performance

Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and R&D to achieve operational goals and support customer needs

Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards while supporting audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field

10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Experience leading operations in a regulated manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma certification is a plus

Proven leadership, financial management, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing performance metrics, and maintaining a strong presence on the production floor to support operations and team development
