The Manager of IT will lead a IT team, oversee infrastructure and service delivery, manage technology partners, support cybersecurity initiatives, and ensure our technology systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.This is an opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, improving processes, and turning technology challenges into practical business solutions.What You'll DoAs IT Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operation of our IT environment while helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, service, and productivity.Your key responsibilities will include:Lead and develop the IT team by recruiting, training, coaching, setting expectations, and providing ongoing performance feedback. Partner with Human Resources as needed.Oversee IT service delivery, including help desk, technical support, incidents, service requests, and operational issues.Manage IT projects from planning through completion, ensuring commitments, timelines, and objectives are met.Lead third-party technology partners and managed service providers, including cloud, network, telecommunications, and phone service partners.Monitor IT services and infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, availability, and uptime objectives are achieved.Strengthen cybersecurity by implementing and enforcing appropriate security practices designed to protect company systems, data, and users.Oversee hardware and software asset management, including device tracking and lifecycle management.Manage and improve IT processes and documentation, bringing clarity and consistency to processes involving servers, applications, equipment, and other technology.Analyze and troubleshoot IT systems and processes, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.Coordinate technology initiatives involving systems integration, data, wireless communications, security, telecommunications, and related technologies.Manage assigned IT financial responsibilities, including purchasing, budgeting, budget planning, and budget reviews.Provide leadership during complex technical issues, working directly with employees and business leaders to identify solutions.Promote collaboration and teamwork across IT and other departments.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and reduce cycle time while maintaining quality and compliance.Observe and adhere to the DMP Classification Standard.Support other departmental activities and provide training or assistance to colleagues when needed.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a technology leader who combines technical knowledge with strong business judgment, communication skills, and a genuine desire to help people succeed.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least four years of experience in Systems Analysis, IT operations, or a related field.Experience with enterprise software, SaaS platforms, and web-based applications.Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business, systems, and IT processes.Ability to bring structure and clarity to processes that may be complex or not well understood.Experience administering and configuring telecommunications and VoIP systems.Experience with mobile device management.Strong knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems.Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering a high level of internal service.Understanding of operational processes combined with strong business and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while meeting commitments and deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.Communication & LeadershipSuccess in this position requires more than technical expertise.
