JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Overview
- CT Technologist position in a department handling inpatient, outpatient, and ED imaging

Unit / Facility Details
- Department has 4 scanners/rooms
- Uses Philips and Siemens equipment
- Epic, Merge PACS, and Sinora PACS systems utilized
- Scrubs- Royal blue top and black pants
Patient Population
- Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging for various patient types
- May start IVs on occasion
- No floating/covering other areas required
- No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift
- Transport available for inpatient and ED
- Films sent out to read; procedural Radiologist in-house
Schedule (Shifts, Hours, Days, etc.)
- Schedules set by manager (no self-scheduling or block scheduling)
- No weekend requirement
- Holiday requirement applies- as needed
- No call or standby requirement
- Orientation shifts based on technologist and department comfort level
Exams Performed
- CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and ED
- Department volume is 115 patients per 24 hours
Additional Info
- Registered Radiology Assistants not used
