ResponsibilitiesNORTON NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE is seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist with an interest in neuromuscular disorders. The ideal candidate will join a team of board-certified neurologists who are fellowship-trained in clinical neuropsychology and neuromuscular neurology; specialty-trained physical, occupational and speech therapists; and advanced practice providers. The neuromuscular team works closely with other specialists who are part of the Norton Neuroscience Institute ALS Clinic. Norton Neuroscience Institute has a comprehensive neuroscience space which includes a neurodiagnostic center with the latest in electromyography (EMG) and ultrasound technology. The diagnostic center expands the services of our other neurophysiology/EMG labs to support a strong demand for electromyography at Norton Healthcare. Norton Neuroscience Institute is the leading provider for neuroscience services in the area, and our neuromuscular program has strong established referral patterns from other Norton Neuroscience Institute neurologists, providers within Norton Medical Group and community providers seeking tertiary expertise throughout the regionABOUT THE POSITIONFellowship trained in neuromuscular neurology or clinical neurophysiology preferredAbility to practice neuromuscular neurology exclusivelyNo inpatient callDevelop and participate in Norton Neuroscience Institute multidisciplinary subspecialty clinics, including an ALS clinicCollaborate with the team to expand electromyography servicesOpportunity to participate in Norton Neuroscience Institute’s annual Neuroscience Symposium, as well as other continuing medical education eventsWeekly neuroscience clinical conference with neurosurgery and neurology providersResearch opportunities and support available through Norton Research InstituteCompetitive compensation package, including sign-on bonus, relocation assistance and a production bonus option.
