Description The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is an entry human subjects researcher, responsible for assisting lab leadership (including but not limited to CRC I) in clinical research studies. Responsibilities Conducts routine and standardized human subjects research using appropriate research or interview techniques specific to the subject matter of the research project, under direct supervision of the PI and other leadership in the lab. Assists in the activities related to clinical research including, but not limited to: obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registering patients with sponsoring agencies, administering bilingual neuropsychological testing and questionnaires, and answering telephone calls. Home visits and travel within the surrounding community/out-of-state will be required as needed. Assists in the collection, analysis, and review of experimental data for publication and presentation. Assists in maintaining source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures. Ensures accurate, confidential, and complete compilation of data. May secure and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol. Assists in other related administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science or related field preferred or a combination of relevant research experience and education. 0-2 years of research/human subjects experience. Certified in phlebotomy with experience performing blood draws, ensuring accurate sample collection, proper documentation, participant safety and comfort, and adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $17 - $41,078.3 hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
