Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

This role involves safely operating stand-up reach forklifts in a large, clean warehouse to support daily material handling operations. You will use RF scanners to pick and put away materials, stage products for shipment, and load and unload trucks as needed. You will also operate equipment to shrink wrap pallets and assist in other warehouse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts to move, lift, and place pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Use an RF scanner to accurately pick orders and put away materials in designated locations.
• Handle bobcat materials and other products with care and precision during all material handling activities.
• Stage materials and finished products in the correct areas to prepare for shipping.
• Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring safe and efficient handling of all pallets and freight.
• Operate machinery to shrink wrap pallets securely for shipment.
• Palletize products in an organized manner to maintain stability and safety during storage and transport.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as necessary to support team and operational needs.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• At least 6 months of experience operating a stand-up reach truck, including standing on the forklift while the forks raise and extend to retrieve pallets.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for picking and putaway activities.
• Experience picking orders accurately in a warehouse environment.
• Experience performing putaway tasks and staging items for shipment.
• Ability to operate stand-up reach trucks safely in a busy warehouse setting.
• Experience with palletizing products and shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.
• Ability to load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy in all tasks.

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts in addition to stand-up reach trucks.
• Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Comfort using RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and orders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist in multiple areas of the warehouse as needed.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very large, clean, and well-lit warehouse that is highly organized and safety-focused. You will work primarily on second shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities available on Saturdays and during the week. The facility uses stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet wrapping equipment to support daily operations. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Otsego, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $22.25/hr.
