At NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential. Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality rehabilitation for our patients throughout the continuum of care including acute care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation.
This is a per diem position working regular Saturdays (minimum of 2 shift/month, but maximum of 18 hours a week that includes Saturdays. This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership
- Certification in Maitland and/or McKenzie treatment approach or relevant coursework
Required Criteria
- At least 5 years of experience practicing in the outpatient orthopedic therapy setting
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- New York State Physical Therapist License within one year of hire
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association
