Job Title: SAP Implementation Consultant (ONSITE IN MOOSIC, PA)

Job Description

The SAP Implementation Consultant supports the full lifecycle of SAP implementations, from planning and configuration through testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. This role partners closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and end users to understand business processes and system requirements, ensuring that SAP solutions are configured, tested, and deployed effectively. The consultant plays a key role in system testing, data validation, process documentation, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, and ongoing support, while also identifying opportunities to improve business processes through SAP functionality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and end users to gather and understand business processes and system requirements.
• Plan, configure, and support the implementation and deployment of SAP solutions across relevant modules.
• Perform system testing and UAT activities to validate that SAP configurations meet business and functional requirements.
• Execute data validation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and end-to-end system processes in a clear and structured manner.
• Support process documentation by creating and maintaining process flows, procedures, and related implementation documentation.
• Assist with cutover planning and execution, including preparation of data, configurations, and system readiness checks for go-live.
• Provide post-go-live stabilization and support by troubleshooting SAP-related issues and coordinating resolution with relevant teams.
• Support user training and knowledge transfer by contributing to training materials and assisting end users during and after go-live.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes by leveraging SAP functionality and recommending enhancements or configuration changes.
• Collaborate closely with IT, functional teams, project leadership, and site personnel to ensure implementation milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.
• Participate in and support full cycle SAP implementations, including design, build, test, deploy, and support phases.
• Provide ongoing configuration support and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP, including configuration and support activities.
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with SAP configuration, with at least 3+ years of configuration experience.
• Strong process documentation skills, with at least 3+ years of experience documenting business processes and system procedures.
• Data validation experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on data validation in an SAP implementation or similar environment.
• Experience supporting system testing, including validating functionality against business requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot SAP-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical and functional teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with IT, functional teams, project leadership, and site personnel.
• Ability to support and participate in full cycle SAP implementations from planning through post-go-live stabilization.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting requirements, processes, and training materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with Oracle systems or related enterprise applications.
• Prior involvement in multiple full cycle SAP implementations.
• Experience contributing to user training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements leveraging SAP functionality.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite and requires regular in-person collaboration with IT teams, functional stakeholders, project leadership, and site personnel. The consultant works in a professional office environment focused on SAP implementation and support activities, including configuration, testing, data validation, and post-go-live support. The position involves close interaction with end users during UAT, cutover, and stabilization phases, and may require flexibility around key project milestones such as go-live and post-go-live support windows.

This is a Contract position based out of Moosic, PA.

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $46.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
