Night Patient Access Coordinator - Billing & Registration

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital – Spring Emergency Care Center (Overnight – Emergency Dept.) Friday – Sunday 9:30 pm – 8:00 am (Part‑Time) At Houston Methodist, the Patient Access Associate position is responsible for obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record (EHR) for patients presenting at the various entry points of the facility. The role also performs cashiering functions, ensuring all hospital accounts are secure by collecting required co‑pay, deductibles, and co‑insurance. Additionally, the Associate performs medical necessity checks to ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and uses effective communication skills to promote excellent customer service in every interaction. The position must adhere to all departmental, hospital, governmental, and other healthcare licensing agency requirements related to EMTALA and HIPAA.
