Housekeeping Supervisor

Essential Functions :

- Inspects Home Away from Home Mobile units, Cabins, and common areas daily to ensure adherence to established cleanliness standards and proper amenity and literature placement.
- Inspects for needed repairs, reports maintenance problems immediately and follows up to ensure completion.
- Trains and coaches housekeeping team members.
- Schedules team and work according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy.
- Ensures that team members have sufficient supplies through regular supply and linen inventories; orders and receives supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Coordinates and works hand in hand with Guest Services daily to ensure special guest requests are met.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 50lbs
- Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours
- Team member may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Team member is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Team member must talk and hear.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in cleaning position required
- Previous experience leading a team
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Excellent follow up and attention to detail skills required
- Passion and excitement for the hospitality/service industry
- Ability to work in high paced environment
- Strong ability to multitask
