Engineering Director

The Director of Engineering will lead the design and development of next‑generation MBG products while building a strong, engaged engineering team. This role is responsible for driving a focused, execution‑oriented development organization that delivers high‑quality boats to market on time and ready for production.

Maverick Boat Group is known for building top‑tier fishing boats across its portfolio of brands, including Maverick, Hewes, Pathfinder, and Cobia. This role plays a key part in continuing that standard by ensuring our products reflect both strong Engineering fundamentals and a clear understanding of how customers actually use our boats on the water.

This leader will strengthen MBG’s in‑house product development capability, improve how engineering partners with production, and help raise the bar on product quality, performance, and execution.

We are looking for someone who is not just a strong engineering leader, but someone who genuinely cares about the marine industry. This role requires a real connection to boats, time on the water, and an understanding of what matters to the customer.
