Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Title: Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45–07:15)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 ICN
• Ventilator experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Experience with therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide administration, central line/UAC/UVC care, and tracheostomy care.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level 3/4 NICU setting.
• Monitor and assess the health status of patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families on neonatal care and procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• RTO after booking is not allowed; candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Auto-approved up to 7 days RTO (not on holidays); no RTO allowed during the first week.
• Scrubs: Navy blue or white.
