About This Role Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Pediatric Emergency Department. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to pediatric patients and their families. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 Location: Rockville, MD Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center Department/Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department Schedule: Part-time, Rotating shifts What You'll Do Educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Serve as role models to Level I nurses. Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice. Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in practice changes. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
