Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Specialty Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: 1 Year Preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry, Titrate Cardiac Drips Description: Registered Nurse needed for a Medical Specialty Unit. The shift is nights, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. There is a weekend shift requirement of 8 shifts within a 6-week schedule period. Candidates must be able to float between departments as required. No on-call duty is required for this position. The candidate must be capable of caring for post-cath patients. Skills in telemetry and monitoring are essential. Required certifications include BLS and NIHSS. The facility has a total of 240 beds, with 16 designated ICU beds. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 30 patients. Candidates must be willing to comply with facility training and policies.
