Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position in a CT Scanner unit at a facility in Laredo, TX, requiring ARRT registration and CT registration with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience ARRT certification required Registration in CT required MRT/TMB (Texas) license required if applicable Current BLS certification No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date Graduated from an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program Proficiency in surgical/sterile procedures and cross-sectional anatomy Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Driver's license required for consideration Responsibilities Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week contract CT Scanner unit within a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting, with expected initial assignment at the main facility 9-bed unit Patient population includes both inpatients and outpatients Procedures include CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures, as well as basic radiographic, fluoroscopy, portable, C‑arm, and OR imaging procedures Studies performed with and without contrast media EMR: Cerner Floating required Call required Block scheduling possible Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning, basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C‑arm procedures, and OR imaging under the direction of a Radiologist Responsibilities include knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast and non-contrast studies, and cross-sectional anatomy Navy blue scrubs required RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
