Hematology/Oncology Physician Job - Kinston, North Carolina Licenses & Qualifications
  • Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology-Oncology - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship trained - REQUIRED
Position Overview
  • Join a growing 9-hospital, physician-led healthcare system
  • Established team: 3 physicians + 3 advanced practice providers
  • Strong referral base
  • Setting: Inpatient & outpatient Hem/Onc care
  • Ability to practice general community oncology
  • Support from multidisciplinary cancer teams in Greenville, NC
Schedule & Call
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Shared call model
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Develop treatment plans for newly diagnosed oncology/hematology patients
  • Chemotherapy oversight
  • Supervise APPs managing follow-up patients
  • Participate in tumor boards
  • Inpatient rounding at the local hospital
  • Provide coverage for patients in Kinston, NC + satellite clinic in Richlands, NC
