Hematology/Oncology Physician Job - Kinston, North Carolina Licenses & Qualifications

Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology-Oncology - REQUIRED
Fellowship trained - REQUIRED

Position Overview

Join a growing 9-hospital, physician-led healthcare system
Established team: 3 physicians + 3 advanced practice providers
Strong referral base
Setting: Inpatient & outpatient Hem/Onc care
Ability to practice general community oncology
Support from multidisciplinary cancer teams in Greenville, NC

Schedule & Call

Monday-Friday schedule
Shared call model

Clinical Responsibilities

Develop treatment plans for newly diagnosed oncology/hematology patients
Chemotherapy oversight
Supervise APPs managing follow-up patients
Participate in tumor boards
Inpatient rounding at the local hospital
Provide coverage for patients in Kinston, NC + satellite clinic in Richlands, NC
