About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Risk Management to oversee the organization's risk management operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating both internal and external risks, as well as designing and implementing strategies to minimize and mitigate these risks. This role involves developing and managing an integrated risk framework, insurance requirements, and all phases of the claims process. The VP will also be tasked with managing relationships with brokers, consultants, and insurance carriers, and ensuring the adequacy of protection for the company's assets. Additionally, the role includes overseeing environmental health and safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in risk management or a related field, with a preference for those holding an ARM, CPCU, or CSP designation. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, managerial, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to make sound business decisions and manage a team effectively. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain effective working relationships. The role also requires proficiency in standard office and computer applications, and the ability to travel occasionally.
