About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Initiate interventions related to patient's change in condition. Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
