Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
This independently owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Parker, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. Founded in 2016, the practice is committed to providing high-quality medicine in a collaborative and supportive environment. With a strong emphasis on mentorship, clinical autonomy, and work-life balance, the hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Full-time doctors work four days a week with a consistent day off and rotating Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats while building long-term relationships with clients through compassionate communication and personalized treatment plans. Most doctors enjoy one dedicated surgery day each week, although the practice is also happy to accommodate veterinarians who prefer a medicine-only role. Standard appointments are scheduled for 40 minutes with the expectation to see same day appointments (on average, seeing 18-20 patients per day). The practice also encourages doctors to develop individual clinical interests and is open to introducing new services that align with their passions.

Practice Details
The practice operates from a modern, purpose-built hospital designed to create a calm and efficient workflow for both clients and staff. The facility features 11 exam rooms designed with an 'at-home' feel, where pets are examined on the floor rather than on traditional exam tables, separate dog and cat entrances, and dedicated outdoor exam spaces. Advanced equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, in-house laboratory equipment, and a fully integrated electronic medical record system. The hospital also benefits from visiting board-certified specialists in radiology and surgery, with plans to expand specialty support further.

Team
You'll join a collaborative team that places a strong emphasis on teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth. New graduates are supported through a structured mentorship program that progresses at an individual pace, while experienced veterinarians are encouraged to share their expertise and pursue new clinical interests. The practice typically maintains a 3:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care, and has built an excellent reputation for retaining its experienced support staff through its positive, supportive culture.

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Salary up to $130,000 (Annual)

• Base salary up to $130k a year depending on experience
