Mobile MRI Driver

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mobile MRI Driver to support our growing mobile imaging operations across North Carolina. This role is ideal for a professional commercial driver who takes pride in safety, precision, and customer service, and who enjoys working independently in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Location: Home-based anywhere in North Carolina, with travel to assigned imaging sites throughout the region and includes nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Completely proficient in ingress/egress unit maneuvering at designated mobile sites.
• Set up mobile unit once delivered to location, including:
• Deliver unit to the assigned area on MR pad
• Disconnect trailer
• Utilize lift and/or air bags to level and stabilize unit
• Set up stabilizers in front and rear of trailer
• Lift and awning set up
• Connect CAT 5 and Phone Cords
• Generator fuel fill-up
• Requires valid commercial driver's license.
• Ability to drive at night and for long distances.
• Required to remain on site for extended periods, upon request, for unit service or variances in patient schedule.
• Provide routine maintenance on the truck as well as the mobile unit upon request, including but not limited to:
• Tire maintenance
• Lift gate maintenance
• Basic chiller/Cold head resetting
• Maintain glycolic and fuel levels in the trailer
• Maintain proper water levels in humidifier system on trailer
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Must keep abreast of the DOT regulations and follow all DOT rules, including:
• Keeping all required logs
• Required to have annual DOT physical
• Subject to random drug testing within 24 hour notice
• Track all expenses and receipts.
• Exemplary driving record.
• Exceed MedQuest Best Customer Service Expectations.

Qualifications:

Customer service skills: Ability to represent the Center in a professional manner when interacting with the public. Ability to make sure the schedule is kept.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and positively when contacting the center.

Teamwork: Ability to function effectively as part of the Region. Ability to be flexible with the schedule of pick-ups and deliveries depending on the needs of the centers. Maintain focus under pressure. Share relevant information with other employees. Volunteer to assist others when time permits.

Managing Change: Communicate effectively and positively when dealing with fellow employees. Communicate with Center Manager on a regular basis to keep informed of any updates or ideas. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Must have Active/Valid Commercial Driver's License.

Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience driving a tractor/trailer truck.
