Front of House Manager

Operations Management

• Oversee daily floor operations including service pacing, cleanliness, and ambiance
• Coordinate with kitchen (BOH) to ensure smooth service execution
• Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and shift coverage

Financial & Administrative Duties

• Handle opening/closing procedures (cash handling, drawer counts, reconciliation)
• Audit staff timekeeping and ensure compliance with procedures
• Prepare daily reports and shift recaps
• payroll 

Compliance & Standards

• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Ensure the restaurant meets brand and hospitality expectations
• • Have the ability to jump into any front of house position when needed, knowing the specifics of each station and job function.
  • Have a full understanding of the restaurant's menus, both food and beverage.
  • Be willing to perform opening and closing duties, on a rotating schedule.
  • Assist in oversight of entire front of house staff, and lead in its training, including the development of training materials and testing. Assist with hiring, performance reviews, revision of job descriptions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Be willing to address the staff as a whole at daily pre-shift meetings and in various training sessions required for operations.
  • Assist the team on the floor during service, including managing front door operations and floor service
  • Adhere to and ensure staff adheres to cleaning and safety standards of the restaurant
    Support inventory awareness and operational efficiency 

    Duties and Tasks (including but not limited to):

  Qualifications

  • Experience working for at least 3 years at a high-quality restaurant with frequent menu changes, with at least 1 year of management experience.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
  • Experience with Resy and Toast, or similar reservation and POS software.
  • Strong leadership ability and confidence.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Previous Sanitation and Alcohol safety training.
  • Computer skills and experience.
  • Creative problem solving ability.
  • Passion for what you do.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
