As a contract manager on our team, you will support all phases of the acquisition life cycle where your expertise in contracts management will serve as the catalyst to identify, manage, and mitigate risk. Your knowledge will be applied to strategic discussions for future contract opportunities and competitive proposals, analysis of solicitations and teaming agreements, negotiation, and contract management. In addition, you will work closely with your teammates on the defense technology contracts team with opportunities to mentor and guide junior staff. What You'll Work On Perform a wide variety of contract administration functions in support of Air Force and other DoD clients, including proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, and contract compliance. Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach. Provide advice and counsel on risk issues, proposal strategies, and customer relationship management. Negotiate and administer contracts independently with U.S. government customers and subcontracts with large and small business contractors across the breadth of contract types. Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements, and organizational conflict of interest plans. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have 4+years of experience with federal contracts supporting U.S. government programs Experience in negotiations or proposal preparation Experience managing Firm -Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost-Plus contract types, as well as other government contract instruments Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and non-FAR acquisition environments, including FAR and DFARS frameworks Ability to advise onappropriate acquisitionapproaches, and support complex contract activity that requires the development of spe cia lized contract vehicles and techniques toaccomplishbusiness goals and objectives Ability to draft non-routine contractual instruments and use independent judgment and creativity to resolve contractual issues Ability to review and interpret solicitation requirements, contractual terms and conditions, statement of work, and compliance obligations Ability to work independently while exercising sound business judgement and risk assessment Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have Ability to collaborate with teams on topics such as intellectual property protection, organizational conflicts of interest, and sensitive data protection Top Secret clearance NCMA Professional Certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM Certification Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
