Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of service line experience and strongly preferred neurointerventional experience.

Details

• Covers both Hendrick Main campus and Hendrick South locations
• 5x8 hour day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation every 6th week, weekdays 1645-0730 and weekends 0700-0700
• Performs vascular studies and procedures including carotid stenting, dialysis graft creation/revision and interventions, EVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and TIPS
• Performs abdominal and pelvic procedures including embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, IVC filter placement, liver biopsy, and stent placement
• Performs neurological studies and procedures including embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Performs genitourinary procedures including nephrostomy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Neurointerventional experience strongly preferred
• ARRT R and BLS certification required; ARRT VI preferred
• License required if applicable
• Prior travel experience required
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid CBD products or anything that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival onsite
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the offer or a completion plan must be in place
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Radius requirement of 50 miles for Allied professionals
• Previous perm staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Hard document due date is Thursday at 2:00 PM CST prior to start, with some flexibility case-by-case
