About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience required License: MO or Compact required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS preferred Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Patient Ratio Experience of 5 Description: Locals are allowed. There is no radius restriction. First-time travelers are not accepted. Charting experience is required. Epic is the charting system used. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating to the ER as an assist is required. The patient ratio during the night shift is 1:6. The unit provides some critical care drips. Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is around 5. The unit consists of 25 beds. Standard patient diagnoses are managed. Standard equipment is utilized. Interdisciplinary support includes various services. Expect to work some holidays. Requests for time off should be included in submissions and confirmed if approved. Compliance with floating policies is essential. Orientation modules are non-billable. Modules are completed during orientation.
