TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in a large Labor and Delivery unit/facility Experience with 3:4 postpartum, baby nurse, and meconium deliveries Description: No RQI certifications required. NRP certification must be in hand upon submission. Due to high volume, scheduling an NRP class in time for the requested start date may be difficult. 36 or 48-hour contracts are available. No locals within 100 miles. COVID vaccine is optional. The facility is required to report COVID vaccine numbers. Submit series or declination. Ratios are 1:2. Weekend requirements are flexible. Scheduling difficulties may impact time off requests. AACLS certifications are required. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Float to antepartum and postpartum is expected. Special requirements include circulating and FHM skills. The facility has a diverse range of procedures and patient diagnoses. The facility operates as a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital. Staffed beds total 554. Patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, and adults. Daily census averages 8 births. The unit includes various interdisciplinary support services. Patient diagnoses range from non-viable to term. Variable staffing patterns exist for Labor and Delivery. Must have experience in a large facility with relevant special procedures. Pre-approved time off is limited. Compliance with traveler requirements is necessary. Travelers with prior experience are preferred. Travelers without specific certifications must complete required training during orientation week.
