Start: ASAP (Once Credentialed)

Contract: Locum Assignment | ~6 Months with Possible Extension

Position Overview

We are seeking a Dermatologist (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity in Rochester, New York . This position involves providing outpatient dermatology care in a busy and well-supported clinic environment.

The provider will primarily work at a dermatology clinic in Rochester , with occasional support at a nearby dermatology location if needed . This role offers steady weekday hours, strong clinical support, and consistent patient flow .

‍⚕️ Eligible Provider

✔️ MD / DO – Dermatology
✔️ Board Eligible or Board Certified
✔️ Active New York Medical License Required
✔️ BLS Certification Required
✔️ Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat general dermatologic conditions
Diagnose and manage skin diseases and disorders
Provide outpatient dermatology consultations and follow-up care
✂️ Opportunity to perform minor dermatologic procedures or surgeries (optional based on experience)
Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system

Practice Environment

Outpatient dermatology clinic setting
‍⚕️ Strong clinical support staff available
Typical support ratio: 1 clinical staff member for every ~12 patients

EPIC Electronic Medical Record system

Schedule & Patient Volume

Monday – Friday schedule
⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shifts

Average patient volume: 25–35 patients per day
Primary coverage at Genesee Valley dermatology clinic
Occasional support at nearby dermatology clinic if needed

⚠️ Important Requirements

Active New York license required prior to start

Recent EPIC experience required

BLS certification required
