Learn More About ProSidian Consulting at DescriptionProSidian Seeks a OHS Senior Project Analyst - Senior Family Services Analyst and Policy Developer headquartered near Washington, DC to support an engagement for an office within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) of the United States Government concerned with providing comprehensive child development services to low-income children ages birth to five years, help young children and their families to develop early reading, math, and social development skills needed to be successful in school. Office of Head Start programs promote school readiness by enhancing the cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and their families. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide planning, development, and implementation of a variety of initiatives, programs, and tasks aligned with the mission and goals of the Office of Head Start.OHS Senior Project Analyst - Senior Family Services Analyst and Policy Developer Candidates shall work to support requirements for Management And Technical Crosscutting Activities (Time And Materials (T&M)) [For Activities Related To General And Cross-Cutting Support] and Function as a full-time, high-level subject matter expert in the areas of child development, education, nutrition, health, social services, and/or related family services. The Senior Project Analyst performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, and systems related to management and contractual issues, develops work breakdown structures and prepares charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing customer problems, and provides advice/guidance for process improvement activities.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Develop, coordinate, and improve program policies, standards, activities, and opportunities;Coordinate and manage several aspects of projects including staffing, coordinating meetings, project and committee support, budget, and implementation of project activities;Coordinate cooperation across federal stakeholders and senior leadership;Lead media focused communications, heading support team structured to ensure client key messages are promoted effectively in print and electronic media;Meet with client regularly to discuss performance, propose initiatives, and establish priorities;Coordinate content development regarding OHS policies.Design and develop new or additional services to be utilized by the OHS.Provide management and strategy consulting.Assist with policy and regulation development.Work with fellow team members to analyze and improve initiatives to support the mission and goals of the OHS.QualificationsThe OHS Senior Project Analyst - Senior Family Services Analyst and Policy Developer shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.The Senior Project Analyst must have a Master’s Degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated experience working with family services, child development, education, health and nutrition, disaster rebuilding and support, and/or related area of expertise.Problem solving and initiative taking skillsExcellent writing and editing skills;The ability to prepare and deliver presentations;The ability to work with a large team.Proficiency in MS Office;Demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision and interest and commitment to international development;TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.
