Job Title: Senior Specialist - Package ImplementationRequired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:9 years of dedicated software quality assurance experience with at least 2 - 3 years focused on test automationHandson experience testing Guidewire implementations upgrades or PC insurance workflowsStrong experience with at least two test automation frameworks e.g., Selenium Cypress Playwright TestNG JUnitStrong analytical problem solving and debugging skillsAgile experience with tools such as JIRAPreferred Skills:Knowledge of the insurance industry personal lines preferred policy claim administration systems ex Guidewires InsuranceNow reinsurance insurance billingHands on experience testing Guidewire InsuranceNow implementations upgrades or PC insurance workflowsSQL experience Database knowledge writing SQL queries for backend data validationExperience with cloud platforms AWS Azure Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6 or JMeterFamiliarity with AI assisted productivity tools for test case generation and optimizationRoles and Responsibilities:Lead test automation effort from the ground up Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks and easily maintainable test scripts for primarily web applications with potential expansions into other platformsExecute automated and manual test cases to validate functionality regression integration and performanceUnderstanding the needs of our customers both insureds and agents and being a proactive advocate for their Berkley One brand experienceAbility to translate business requirements into executable test strategy and clearly communicate risk to others in the organizationIncorporate AI into QA Automation process where applicablePerform exploratory testing and identify edge cases not covered by automation Monitor and report on quality metrics test coverage and release readinessContinuously identify and articulate process improvement recommendations that will increase quality and/or efficiency and keep to best practicesSoft Skills:Strong leadership and mentoring capabilitiesExcellent communication and coordination skillsAbility to work independently and manage cross functional teamsAnalytical mindset with problem solving orientation
